The High Back and Low Back are designed for babies and toddlers from 6 months to 4 years old, up to 55 lbs.
We set our weight limit conservatively — not because the swing couldn't handle more, but because your child's safety matters more to us than a bigger number on a spec sheet. When we say 55 lbs, we mean it.
One important thing: your baby needs to be able to sit up on their own before using this swing. If they're not quite there yet, they're not being left out — they just need a different starting point. Our Grow With Me Swing is built specifically for that earlier stage and grows right along with them into this one.

Pillows aren't required — but they can make a big difference for younger or smaller babies who are still building core strength.
You can add 0, 1, or 2 pillows. They tuck behind or beside your baby to keep them comfortably upright while swinging. When your little one outgrows them, the pillows double as cute accent pillows for the nursery.
Each pillow is about 11 x 11 inches with a washable cover — because babies are messy, and we get that.
Not sure how many to choose? Go with 1 if your baby just started sitting. Go with 2 if they're on the smaller or younger side. Go with 0 if they're sitting strong and confident.

Pick the height that matches your actual ceiling — not the rope length. This tells us how long to make the rope so your swing sits at the right height (24–36 inches off the ground is ideal).
Not sure of your ceiling height? Choose the tallest option. It gives you the most flexibility to adjust, and we can help you get it just right.
Buying as a gift? Same advice — go tallest. The recipient can always shorten the rope, but they can't add to it.

Always stay close when your baby is in the swing. This swing is designed for supervised play — not for naps or unattended time.
Your baby should be able to sit up on their own before using this swing. If they're not there yet, our Grow With Me Swing is a better fit for this stage.
The wood is natural and untreated — it's part of what makes it beautiful. Because of that, it's made for indoor use only. Leaving it outside will damage both the fabric and the wood over time. If you want something for full outdoor use, check out our Outdoor High Back Swing.

Start with spot cleaning — that handles most messes. If things get really messy (we know, we know), you can take the swing apart and hand wash it gently. Take a quick photo before you disassemble so you can reference it when putting it back together.

I got this swing for my 15 month old and, as expected, he LOVES it. He begs to swing every day, multiple times a day. My 5 year old (~40 lbs) also loves it and swings in it regularly. My husband and I love it because it can be taken down when it’s not being used (or we are tired of pushing the kids in the swing 😅 - out of sight, out of mind). And we also love it because we are able to get a little housework done while our littlest guy watches from the swing instead of being under foot.
It was so easy to install and is sturdy and high quality. We bought tree straps too to use when we go camping (not leaving it out in the weather when not in use of course), but haven’t gotten to test those out yet.

We live in Washington where it rains 75% of the time. Does that stop my kiddos from wanting to play? NEVER! This swing was made for the elements. It has held up extremely well during our rainy season. Look just like the day we bought it! But it doesn’t compromise on style. As a self proclaimed “slightly sad beige mom”, this swing has hit the mark on the aesthetic. The other bonus is both my kids can use it. The 1 year old and the 3 year old.
